Most everywhere I've been, when you order a burrito, even at lunch, it comes with rice and beans, salsa, and just the things you expect to be in a burrito. I didn't get salsa with my chips because that was an extra $2.99. I did not add beans in my burrito, also another $0.59. I did not add rice in the burrito, as that was another $0.59. A burrito, chips, & a drink at lunch was just under $10. I asked what the lunch specials were, which got a snort and a short curt reply from one of the managers there: none. I always like this place, but it seems to be getting pricey, and a little full of themselves. But Tijuana has always been known for making exceptionally good burritos, but I probably will think about going somewhere else for the next time.Went for lunch today.
So they were already slowing down and starting to clean up, and restock after their lunch rush. Now I did come in a little bit after lunch, about one o'clock. In some bites I got nothing but lettuce and sour cream, and other bites I got nothing but cheese and meat. The fillings were okay, but were not spread evenly throughout the burrito. The wrapper was a simple flour tortilla, it had not been warmed up, toasted or anything. To get a lunch special I would get that many Mexican restaurants for around $6, it would probably cost me close to $15 here.
